Description

  • Support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for assigned indirect categories.
  • Identify cost-reduction opportunities and supplier consolidation plans.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute end-to-end competitive sourcing events such as RFx and auctions using the Coupa Sourcing module.
  • Assist in leading commercial negotiations with suppliers to secure year-over-year cost savings, favorable payment terms, and risk mitigation.
  • Analyze supplier proposals using quantitative and qualitative methods and make data-backed supplier selection recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Use the Coupa Contract Management module to draft, track, and manage sourcing-related agreements in compliance with legal and security standards.
  • Ensure contract compliance by confirming spend adheres to contracted pricing, volume, and quality terms and that contracts are linked correctly to purchase orders.
  • Partner with the Supplier Lifecycle team to support onboarding and risk vetting for newly awarded suppliers.
  • Analyze spend data in Coupa to identify new sourcing opportunities and monitor category performance against baselines.
  • Track, report, and validate realized savings from sourcing initiatives and align reporting with Finance targets.
  • Serve as the primary procurement contact for internal business units and ensure sourcing requirements are clearly defined before market engagement.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and category management with a focus on indirect spend.
  • Hands-on experience using Coupa modules.
  • Strong financial acumen and advanced analytical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills to influence senior stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Experience managing sourcing and procurement activities across indirect categories (required).
  • Ability to work with contract management, reporting, and spend analysis tools in a procurement environment (preferred).
  • Experience collaborating with internal business units, Finance, legal, security, and supplier management teams (preferred).
