Description

  • Define the end-to-end design strategy for the Foundations pillar, including supplier onboarding, identity, profiles, navigation, and shared platform capabilities.
  • Translate business goals and platform constraints into a long-term design vision across Grow, Transact, and the broader Coupa ecosystem.
  • Lead the design of cross-product supplier experiences that enable seamless movement across Coupa products.
  • Ensure core systems and workflows remain coherent, trustworthy, and easy to use as complexity scales.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations leaders to shape roadmaps, define shared requirements, and make tradeoff decisions.
  • Advocate for supplier clarity and consistency while balancing technical and organizational constraints.
  • Help define how AI supports foundational supplier experiences, including guided onboarding, profile intelligence, and proactive recommendations.
  • Produce flows, components, prototypes, interaction specifications, and end-to-end service experience maps to align teams.
  • Lead and collaborate on research with suppliers to understand onboarding challenges, trust signals, and cross-product friction.
  • Work with the Design Systems team to evolve shared patterns, components, and platform conventions across web and mobile.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product design experience designing complex B2B SaaS, platform, or marketplace products.
  • Experience working in environments with multiple products, users, or integrations.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex workflows such as onboarding, identity, permissions, configuration, or cross-product experiences.
  • Systems thinking and understanding of how data, identity, trust, and workflows move through an ecosystem over time.
  • Expert-level Figma skills.
  • Experience contributing to mature design systems and shared platform patterns.
  • Strong communication and influence skills, with the ability to align cross-functional partners and tell compelling product stories.
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering on scalable solutions and tradeoffs.
  • Proactive, independent builder mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity and high-ownership environments.
