Description

  • Lead new insurance product launches from kickoff through independent operation.
  • Translate product strategy into clear specifications for pricing, data, and engineering teams.
  • Set build priorities with engineering and data teams and manage competing priorities.
  • Identify and remove operational bottlenecks across functions.
  • Create systems that allow underwriting and pricing experts to encode rules and judgment directly.
  • Maintain consistent terminology across systems, models, and teams.
  • Establish feedback loops from policies, claims, and lost deals to guide product improvements.
  • Create and manage change-control processes for coverage, rules, and pricing changes.
  • Identify issues during testing before they reach customers.
  • Migrate existing programs to shared infrastructure instead of maintaining one-off setups.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience solving complex problems through process and product development, or demonstrated growth in scope and responsibility.
  • Systems-thinking approach focused on scalable solutions rather than one-off fixes.
  • Exceptional project management and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Self-starter comfortable working in a lean, fast-moving environment.
  • Daily experience using AI agents, including delegating tasks, reviewing outputs, and improving workflows.
  • Demonstrated grit and persistence in overcoming difficult challenges.
  • Insurance experience preferred, including exposure to policy forms, rate and rule filings, or SERFF.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across product, underwriting, pricing, data, and engineering teams.
