Description

  • Process and quote a high volume of management and professional liability submissions accurately and on time using Counterpart's digital platform.
  • Apply underwriting fundamentals, including policy forms, coverage terms, rating procedures, and authority parameters.
  • Follow up on open quotes by contacting brokers, answering routine questions, and escalating out-of-authority cases.
  • Support broker relationships by delivering responsive, professional service in the assigned territory.
  • Capture broker feedback and market observations and relay them to the team to improve guidelines and the quoting experience.
  • Represent Counterpart at broker meetings and local industry events to build market familiarity and visibility.
  • Work toward premium and submission goals and flag obstacles to the manager.
  • Use Counterpart's Agentic AI tools to support daily workflows.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of underwriting, insurance, or related experience.
  • Exposure to management liability, professional liability, or specialty lines preferred but not required.
  • Eagerness to learn ML/PL products, including policy forms, coverage terms, and risk assessment.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through in high-volume, process-driven workflows.
  • Clear, professional communication with brokers and internal teammates.
  • Adaptability and coachability in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
  • College degree or equivalent experience.
