Description

  • Analyze course performance metrics and student feedback to identify and prioritize content updates.
  • Fix student-reported issues in instructions, tutorials, exercises, projects, and starter code.
  • Update classroom materials for changes to AWS, Azure, and GCP services and user interfaces.
  • Update Python or Node.js code, dependencies, screenshots, documentation, and instructional content.
  • Install updated Python packages and modernize Udacity Workspaces, including upgrades such as Python 3.6 to 3.12.
  • Test Cloud Labs to verify required services, resources, policies, and permissions.
  • Troubleshoot student access and permission issues in federated AWS, Azure, and GCP accounts.
  • Collaborate with Udacity team members and cross-functional teams to define scope, priorities, and required information.
  • Document changes and provide clear, accurate technical instructions.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of popular services in at least two of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with compute, databases, networking, storage, backup, containers, and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with a CI/CD tool, preferably CircleCI or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • At least 2 years of software development experience, preferably with JavaScript or Python.
  • Experience with Git and GitHub.
  • Ability to debug and update Python-based exercises and projects.
  • Strong troubleshooting, written communication, and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to create high-quality instructional materials comparable to official AWS, Azure, or GCP documentation.
  • Architect-level certification is preferred.
  • U.S. applicants must have work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship requirements.
