Description

  • Perform manual black-box testing of games, focusing on functionality, stability and user experience.
  • Identify, log and track project issues and work with the team to reproduce and resolve bugs.
  • Design, implement and maintain automated test suites (e.g., Playwright) to speed up regression testing.
  • Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, traceability matrices, test cases, checklists and test reports.
  • Review and analyze game design documents and functional specifications to derive test coverage and test cases.
  • Participate in planning and execution of QA activities throughout all phases of the sprint lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers and producers to troubleshoot tricky bugs and facilitate smooth releases.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve overall game quality, gameplay experience, graphics and audio.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant software testing experience (game development experience is a strong plus).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with ability to describe issues clearly and concisely.
  • Methodical, analytical mindset with knowledge of SDLC and STLC and expert-level test design techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of testing types and levels and their practical applicability.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, processes and tools.
  • Experience testing across multiple platforms (mobile, desktop, web, social platforms).
  • Experience with issue and test management tools such as Jira and TestRail (or similar).
  • Willingness to align working hours/shifts with the rest of the team to ensure smooth collaboration.
  • Nice to have: ISTQB or similar certification.
  • Nice to have: test automation experience (writing, reviewing, debugging end-to-end tests), proficiency in a modern programming language (preferably JavaScript/TypeScript), familiarity with Playwright/Cypress/WebdriverIO and experience with version control and CI integration (Jenkins/GitHub/GitLab).
