Description

  • Support sales productivity and deal flow by securing technical closure with prospects’ technical stakeholders.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product demos for prospective customers.
  • Lead technical proof-of-concepts in prospects’ environments.
  • Manage technical relationships with prospects and help ensure successful POCs.
  • Participate in sales, marketing, and partner events and conferences.
  • Provide training and technical updates for partners.
  • Share customer feature requests and market feedback with Product Management.
  • Track competition, competitive issues, and related products.
  • Maintain technical knowledge of relevant technologies.
  • Assist in maintaining ControlUp’s internal environment.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a technical sales role or equivalent hands-on technical role with end-user experience technologies; 3-5 years preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a positive, resourceful, and confident decision-making approach.
  • Commercial awareness and a customer-centric approach to selling.
  • Proficiency with virtualization and VDI technologies, including Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, Nutanix, and AWS, both on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Experience with physical endpoints and operating systems such as Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.
  • Experience with thin clients such as IGEL, Stratodesk, 10Zig, and HP ThinPro.
  • Preferred experience working with large IT organizations.
  • Preferred knowledge of IT operations and DEX positioning.
  • Preferred PowerShell skills and knowledge.
  • Preferred experience at high-growth SaaS companies.
  • Foreign language fluency is a plus.
