Description

  • Identify and source potential clients through outbound prospecting, market research, and proactive outreach.
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline, prioritize leads, and maintain accurate CRM records.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and deliver presentations that demonstrate solution value.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals with pricing and business terms.
  • Lead client negotiations, coordinate with legal teams, and close new business deals.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to inform sales strategy.
  • Work with marketing, product development, and client success teams to support acquisition and retention.
  • Ensure smooth post-sale handoff to client success and a positive client onboarding experience.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and provide sales activity and forecast reports.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of prospective sales experience with a track record of securing new logos and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of alternative data solutions for B2C companies, including industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building trust and credibility with corporate clients and decision-makers.
  • Effective negotiation skills and the ability to handle objections and conflicts professionally.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and creativity in tailoring solutions to client needs.
  • Knowledge of SaaS and data-driven decision making; self-driven prospecting mindset and high ethical standards.
  • Ability to reside in one of the listed states or Washington, DC: CA, CO, CT, FL, ID, IL, LA, MA, MD, NC, NJ, NY, PA, RI, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI.
