Description

  • Lead technical discovery conversations with prospective customers.
  • Design and document integration architectures across APIs, ecommerce platforms, PIM, CMS, and data pipelines.
  • Develop and support tailored Proof Schedules and lightweight proof-of-concept engagements.
  • Deliver technical presentations to business and technical stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary technical advisor during customer evaluation cycles.
  • Triage API calls and SDK-related questions and build demo prototypes or tooling when needed.
  • Support RFP and RFI responses.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to share customer feedback and influence roadmap and integration strategy.
  • Support sales enablement and training, and help refine documentation, processes, and best practices within the Sales Engineering function.
  • Represent Constructor in prospect meetings, partner engagements, field events, and other industry activities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales Architecture, or Technical Pre-Sales roles.
  • Strong experience designing SaaS or API-based integrations.
  • Ability to interpret and troubleshoot REST APIs, including use of tools such as Postman or similar.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Deep hands-on experience with API-first platforms, REST APIs, JSON data structures, webhook frameworks, and SDK integration patterns.
  • Experience translating technical architecture into business outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience engaging with technical stakeholders such as developers, architects, and engineering leaders, and explaining complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with ecommerce and AI/ML, especially in enterprise ecommerce or retail technology environments, is preferred.
  • Multilingual capability is preferred; English is required, with German, French, and Italian considered a plus.
