Description

  • Own the customer-facing AI experience end to end, including defining core flows, shipping them, instrumenting them, and iterating on performance.
  • Define how the product earns trust with small business owners by communicating intent, surfacing tradeoffs, and supporting gradual adoption from supervised to autonomous use.
  • Select and defend the leading metrics for the AI experience, including activation, time-to-value, weekly engagement, owner intervention rate, and attributed outcomes.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams across shared platform layers to deliver quickly without creating downstream dependency costs.
  • Set the evaluation bar for AI UX and agent behavior, including accuracy, safety, brand tone, and customer appropriateness.
  • Use AI-assisted research, prototyping, and iteration as default team workflows to move from idea to tested artifact quickly.
  • Engage directly with small business owners and support tickets to bring customer feedback into roadmap decisions.
  • Communicate roadmap, tradeoffs, and requirements clearly to executives, engineers, and design partners.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including at least one 0-to-1 product taken from concept to scale.
  • SaaS experience is required.
  • Experience in SMB-focused products is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience shipping LLM-powered features in production.
  • Working knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG, evals, and agent architectures.
  • Direct experience building agentic systems, not just AI features layered onto existing products.
  • Strong opinions on AI UX, including when AI should be visible or invisible and when it should ask permission versus act autonomously.
  • Metrics-driven approach with the ability to define input-to-output-to-outcome frameworks.
  • Customer obsession focused on SMB owners.
  • Bias toward action and a direct, constructive communication style.
  • Background in SMB SaaS or marketing technology is a plus.
  • Familiarity with multi-channel customer engagement is a plus.
  • Experience with PLG motions and self-serve onboarding is a plus.
  • A point of view on how AI is reshaping SaaS distribution and product design is a plus.
