Description

  • Work with educators and team members to validate and iterate the analytics models used in ConnectPrep’s products.
  • Help synthesize knowledge of algorithms, platforms, and educational content into actionable tests and modules.
  • Perform data mining and cleaning from multiple sources, including web sources, internal trackers, and marketing platforms.
  • Support AI tools and workflows for data-driven decision-making and ConnectPrep’s programs and website.
  • Assist with AI and chatbot development projects.
  • Conduct SEO and keyword research to identify growth opportunities and track performance.
  • Analyze website analytics such as traffic, engagement, and conversions, and prepare dashboards or summary reports.
  • Support data analysis for marketing campaigns, content performance, and business operations.
  • Help test, document, and iterate on new data and AI workflows as they are developed.

Requirements

  • Studying or previously studied Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Some coding experience and a strong interest in technology and AI.
  • Experience with at least one of the following: SQL, Python data tools such as Pandas or NumPy, or building simple data pipelines or analysis scripts in Python.
  • Comfort working extensively in Excel, including advanced formulas, tables, conditional formatting, advanced charting, pivot tables, simulations, Solver, and related analysis features.
  • Strong math and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Curiosity about how data can improve learning and student outcomes.
  • Bonus: VBA and macros experience.
  • Preferred: prior internship or project experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or marketing analytics.
  • Preferred: familiarity with web analytics and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, GA4, Search Console, Looker Studio, or similar platforms.
  • Preferred: experience visualizing data in Tableau, Power BI, or Data Studio.
  • Preferred: experience working with SEO tools or keyword platforms.
  • Preferred: experience collaborating in remote or hybrid teams using Slack, Zoom, or project management boards.
