Description

  • Design, plan, and implement scalable, reliable, and robust system infrastructure.
  • Manage a highly available and fault-tolerant production environment.
  • Identify and resolve performance issues and operational bottlenecks.
  • Debug complex system issues and advise on system architecture solutions.
  • Build, design, and maintain self-serve developer experience tools.
  • Improve systems to be more cost effective, performant, simple to use, and easy to extend.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
  • Experience working in a Linux environment and writing scripts.
  • Production experience with public cloud platforms and container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes.
  • Deep understanding of infrastructure as code concepts.
  • Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, or Ansible.
  • Broad knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, or Elasticsearch.
  • Experience with software development and development frameworks is an advantage.
  • Experience provisioning and operating relational databases such as MySQL is an advantage.
  • Experience provisioning and operating NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or Elasticsearch is an advantage.
  • Experience with event streaming and messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
  • Experience with Jenkins or TeamCity is an advantage.
  • Python hands-on experience is an advantage.
