Description

  • Lead, manage, train, and develop a regional team of Patient Access Liaisons.
  • Operate as a player/coach by directly resolving complex access and reimbursement issues in the field.
  • Drive consistent, compliant, and high-quality execution across the region.
  • Partner with treatment sites to support coverage navigation, coding, billing, REMS requirements, and care workflows.
  • Translate complex access requirements into practical workflows for sites and patients.
  • Anticipate and address barriers to site readiness and patient progression.
  • Serve as a regional subject matter expert on access and reimbursement pathways.
  • Collaborate with Patient Engagement, Market Access, Commercial, Medical Affairs, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Surface regional trends, payer dynamics, and access barriers to inform strategy and improvement.
  • Bring field insights back to internal teams to improve tools, training, and patient/provider experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree such as MBA, MPH, PharmD, or equivalent preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in field reimbursement or patient access within biopharmaceutical or life sciences.
  • Experience leading field access teams.
  • Strong understanding of medical and pharmacy benefit reimbursement.
  • Experience with buy-and-bill and site-of-care dynamics.
  • Experience with prior authorization and payer processes.
  • Experience supporting complex therapies such as specialty, infusion, REMS products, or site-administered treatments.
  • Experience in mental health or neuroscience is highly preferred.
  • Strong empathy, communication, cross-functional leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to navigate sensitive topics with rigor and compassion.
  • Field-based role with ability to travel approximately 70% within the region by plane, train, or car.
  • Must have employment rights in the country of application; visa sponsorship is not available.

  • Base salary of $200,000 to $250,000 USD per year for NYC.
  • Eligibility for additional discretionary bonuses.
