Description

  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional technology teams to define outcomes, requirements, priorities, and business impacts.
  • Lead process discovery, current- and future-state mapping, functional design, and solution planning across Invoice-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report.
  • Configure and optimize NetSuite roles, permissions, workflows, records, reports, dashboards, approvals, and SuiteAnalytics.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and coordinate SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, APIs, integrations, and data migrations.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close by monitoring jobs, diagnosing issues, and coordinating timely resolution.
  • Own integration design and data validation across CRM, billing, banking, procurement, tax, payroll, reporting, and planning systems.
  • Embed segregation of duties, access controls, audit trails, reconciliations, and other compliance requirements into solutions.
  • Produce requirements, process maps, data mappings, test plans, UAT scripts, release documentation, and operating procedures.
  • Lead release readiness, regression testing, stakeholder communications, incident management, root-cause analysis, and durable production fixes.
  • Evaluate intelligent automation opportunities and mentor BSAs and delivery partners on standards and documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in business systems analysis, ERP, financial systems, or a related field, including substantial hands-on NetSuite experience.
  • Expert knowledge of the full accounting lifecycle, including AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, cash management, tax, intercompany, consolidation, foreign currency, revenue accounting, reporting, and financial close.
  • Hands-on expertise with NetSuite financial functionality, workflows, permissions, SuiteAnalytics, Multi-Book Accounting, SuiteTax, payments, fixed assets, consolidation, and close management.
  • Experience defining integrations and data flows using REST or SOAP APIs, middleware or iPaaS platforms, file interfaces, and event-driven patterns.
  • Experience leading requirements, functional design, testing, UAT, release readiness, and production support across the solution lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge of SOX, IT general controls, segregation of duties, audit evidence, and financial compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to manage close-cycle incidents.
  • NetSuite certification or equivalent expertise preferred; experience with SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteCloud Development Framework, SuiteFlow, SuiteQL, Advanced PDF, and NetSuite2.com preferred.
  • Experience with US GAAP and ASC 606, Advanced Revenue Management, connected financial platforms, AI automation, or global publicly traded SaaS/technology companies preferred.
