Description

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and define an effective test strategy.
  • Review requirements, user stories, design documents, and other test basis materials to align test activities with project scope.
  • Design, create, and execute test cases with strong coverage for UI, mobile, web, and API automation testing.
  • Perform manual black-box, functional, regression, integration, and user interface testing when needed.
  • Plan, execute, monitor, and report on testing activities for both automated and manual test efforts.
  • Track defects, assess risks, and report test progress and status to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support continuous integration, continuous testing, and release management activities.
  • Support development and review of test automation frameworks, scripts, and failed scenarios.
  • Design and execute performance tests such as load and stress testing and report the results.
  • Contribute to cross-project test automation coordination and help standardize automation practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software industry experience, including QA methodologies and software testing.
  • At least 4 years of experience using test automation tools such as Appium and Rest Assured.
  • BSc or MSc in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of existing test automation frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of version control systems and collaboration tools such as Git and Gerrit.
  • Experience writing test automation strategies and test plans.
  • Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
  • Experience with load testing tools such as JMeter and Locust.
  • Proficiency using AI coding assistants and LLMs such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Cursor for generating boilerplate code, POMs, SQL/Regex scripts, Gherkin scenarios, and test scripts.
  • Understanding of the core mechanics of Large Language Models (LLMs).
