Description

  • Lead a strategic sales team focused on Cloud/SaaS customers and the world’s largest cloud service providers.
  • Manage sales team performance and account engagements to meet and exceed quota targets.
  • Own the team quota rollup for the Cloud/Hyperscale business.
  • Build and maintain relationships with account decision makers, influencers, and key business partners in the Cloud/SaaS and Hyperscale communities.
  • Educate customers on Cologix technology and data center infrastructure offerings.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Cologix’s data center infrastructure portfolio.
  • Use market and customer knowledge to support credible conversations with hyperscale customers.
  • Work within indirect selling methodologies and hyperscaler engagement models.
  • Partner across the business to support large, complex sales opportunities and contract wins.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience selling to the hyperscale buying community.
  • Proven track record of winning and closing large, complex contracts.
  • Strong understanding of market and customer business requirements and trends in the hyperscale market.
  • Experience augmenting hyperscaler value propositions through neutral data center assets.
  • Executive presence.
  • Working knowledge of the unique attributes of hyperscale client deployments.
  • Sales leadership and people management experience required.
  • Understanding of indirect selling methodologies and how to work within them.
  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
