Description

  • Lead a team of developers and keep work unblocked, prioritized, and on track to deliver quality solutions.
  • Host daily team calls to drive project completion and coordinate execution.
  • Provide technical input during design and development phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Triage escalated internal support cases and work with Support and Client Experience teams to resolve issues.
  • Prepare project updates, trends, and reports for business stakeholders.
  • Validate project scope, define accurate milestones, and provide program management for major initiatives.
  • Coordinate internal resources, third parties, and vendors for assigned projects.
  • Lead discussions with business units, stakeholders, and the team to finalize deliverables and review requirements, specifications, and recommendations.
  • Identify bugs, blockers, and issue impacts, and ensure they are tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate software launches with Marketing, Support, Sales, and other teams, including release scheduling, announcements, documentation, and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Administration, IT, Business Systems, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as an individual contributor in a senior engineering, senior product management, or equivalent role.
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience in software, IT, or a similar technical environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver time-sensitive projects while working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working on a Network Exchange, Cloud Exchange, Internet Exchange, or other network services product is a plus.
  • Experience with major cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, or Oracle Cloud is preferred.
  • PMP or Scrum certification is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; sponsorship or transfer of employment visa is not available, including CPT/OPT.
