Description

  • Drive the successful delivery of the team’s initiatives and ensure timely execution.
  • Maintain high-quality software that meets technical standards and customer expectations.
  • Provide technical expertise, troubleshoot complex issues, and influence architectural decisions.
  • Promote agile and engineering best practices to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager and stakeholders to align deliverables with business goals.
  • Communicate clearly with peers, leadership, and stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency.
  • Support recruitment, retention, and professional growth of team members.
  • Conduct constructive evaluations and develop growth plans for team members.

Requirements

  • Recent experience as an Engineering Manager.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide team members.
  • Ability to manage team dynamics, build relationships, and foster a cohesive team environment.
  • Strong software development proficiency in a leading technology, preferably Python.
  • Understanding of software architecture and systems design, including practical experience with microservice architecture.
  • Knowledge of agile and lean practices such as Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks.
  • Ability to combine agile methodologies with project management tools to improve team performance.
  • Ability to analyze metrics and use data-driven insights to guide decisions and improve processes.
  • Experience working with a DevOps mindset, including TDD, CI/CD, and observability practices.
