Description

  • Develop and maintain NetSuite customizations, integrations, and automation.
  • Design scalable, secure, performant enhancements that preserve system integrity.
  • Translate business requirements into practical NetSuite solutions with stakeholders and engineers.
  • Plan, estimate, deliver, and improve work using Agile development practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering standards.
  • Troubleshoot application, integration, and performance issues and implement durable fixes.
  • Manage the software lifecycle, including design, testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Improve development processes, tooling, release practices, and support procedures.
  • Maintain documentation for code, customizations, integrations, and operational processes.
  • Provide limited production support and break/fix assistance for escalated issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of professional software development experience, including hands-on NetSuite development.
  • Strong JavaScript skills and experience with software design, debugging, testing, source control, and release workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with SuiteScript 2.1/2.x; SuiteScript 1.0 experience is preferred.
  • Experience with User Event, Client, Scheduled, Map/Reduce, RESTlet, Suitelet, and Workflow Action scripts.
  • Experience building and consuming REST-based integrations, including NetSuite REST web services or RESTlets.
  • Knowledge of NetSuite records, saved searches or SuiteQL, roles and permissions, script governance, and performance practices.
  • Experience with SDF, SuiteCloud CLI or equivalent deployment tools, and Git-based source control.
  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer or other relevant certification is preferred.
  • Authorization to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship or transfer, including CPT/OPT, is unavailable.
