Description

  • Contribute to design work across CoLab’s platform and key build teams.
  • Partner with product and engineering leads on roadmap and architecture decisions.
  • Translate complex requirements into clear, usable, and scalable design solutions.
  • Improve design quality by contributing to shared patterns and design systems.
  • Mentor other designers and help raise UX thinking across the organization.
  • Plan and conduct customer interviews, workflow discovery, usability testing, and prototype validation.
  • Drive alignment and clarity in technically complex and high-risk problem spaces.
  • Use customer evidence to inform product discussions and improve decision-making.
  • Help teams define the right problem before moving into solution design.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product or UX design experience, with at least 4 years in enterprise SaaS.
  • Deep experience designing complex systems, admin tools, or enterprise platform features.
  • Strong UX architecture and systems-thinking skills, with the ability to design for scale and change.
  • Fluency in Figma and structured design systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical partners.
  • Experience working closely with or designing for enterprise IT, security, or PLM/ERP systems.
  • Experience conducting customer discovery, usability testing, or validation research throughout the product development process.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and independently drive complex initiatives from problem definition through execution.
  • Experience designing for engineering, manufacturing, industrial, construction, or other highly technical domains (nice to have).
  • Experience working directly with subject matter experts in complex operational environments (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with AI-enhanced design tools such as Figma Make, Lovable, or Galileo AI (nice to have).
