Description

  • Build and maintain Figma components, widgets, and primitives using advanced variants, properties, auto layout, and constraints.
  • Own the variable and token architecture across primitive, semantic, and component layers, including multi-brand theme modes.
  • Audit the design library to manage versioning, plan deprecations, and reduce design debt.
  • Partner with front-end developers during implementation and review built components against Figma designs.
  • Align component properties, states, and naming conventions between Figma libraries and front-end code such as Storybook.
  • Define and document design patterns, usage guidelines, and responsive behavior rules.
  • Support product and graphic designers through onboarding, usage reviews, and component gap analysis.
  • Establish processes for collecting system requests, evaluating new pattern proposals, and resolving library friction.
  • Design end-to-end features, flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
  • Validate design hypotheses with UX Researchers and Product Managers using usability tests, interviews, and user feedback.

Requirements

  • Ukrainian/Russian proficiency is required.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Designer, including at least 1 year building and maintaining a production design system used by other teams.
  • Expert-level Figma skills, including advanced component architecture, sets, variable layers, design tokens, and multi-brand theming.
  • Ability to read HTML/CSS/JSX or Storybook pages and discuss implementation with front-end developers.
  • Practical understanding of responsive design best practices across breakpoints and platform constraints.
  • Familiarity with WCAG AA accessibility standards, including contrast ratios, focus states, and keyboard navigation.
  • Experience conducting usability research, iterating on prototypes, and defining requirements from team briefs.
  • Strong communication skills to explain system decisions, align stakeholders, and manage feature requests.
  • Hands-on experience in or alongside a Design Ops function (preferred).
  • Familiarity with visual design principles and brand consistency across marketing and product touchpoints (preferred).
  • Experience establishing deprecation strategies and managing large-scale UI kit migrations (preferred).
