Description

  • Plan, design, and execute manual and automated tests for funding, payments, data pipelines, REST APIs, and system integrations.
  • Build and maintain automated test suites with Python, Pytest, Robot Framework, and Playwright using TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Validate data accuracy using complex SQL queries, reconciliation, joins, subqueries, and aggregations.
  • Conduct performance, load, cross-browser, responsive, and device testing.
  • Use AI coding assistants and AI-driven testing tools for test creation, test data generation, result analysis, and defect triage.
  • Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams on testing activities and delivery.
  • Test file-based integrations, including CSV, fixed-width files, and SFTP transfers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in manual and automated software testing.
  • Hands-on Python automation experience with Pytest and/or Robot Framework.
  • Experience with Playwright and TypeScript or JavaScript.
  • Strong SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation.
  • Experience testing REST APIs with Postman or code-based frameworks.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
  • Experience with performance or load testing tools such as JMeter, k6, or Locust.
  • Experience testing responsive web applications across browsers and devices.
  • Practical experience using AI tools in day-to-day testing; experience building AI agents with LLM APIs is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, strong communication skills, and availability during US Eastern business hours.
  • Fintech experience in lending, loan servicing, payments, or related domains is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, financial data accuracy, and compliance considerations is preferred.
