Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications and backend services using Python, TypeScript, and AWS.
  • Build scalable end-to-end data ingestion and transformation pipelines with Databricks, DBT, and Apache Spark.
  • Design and implement data architectures, modeling, governance, quality, monitoring, and observability frameworks.
  • Develop agentic and LLM-powered solutions for production environments.
  • Design APIs, workflows, backend services, and distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Data, and Business teams to deliver reliable, scalable, production-ready solutions.
  • Drive technical decisions and engineering practices across data and AI platforms.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience delivering production-grade systems.
  • Strong expertise in Python and SQL.
  • Experience building cloud-native applications, preferably on AWS.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, DBT, and modern data engineering practices.
  • Experience designing APIs, backend services, workflows, and distributed systems.
  • Production experience developing AI or LLM-powered products.
  • Strong knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, governance, and data quality frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Medallion Architecture, Data Vault 2.0, and dimensional modeling.
  • Experience with AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, Strands, or similar AI orchestration frameworks preferred.
  • Experience with Fivetran, Delta Lake, CI/CD, monitoring, observability, conversational AI, or AI platform development preferred.
