Description

  • Define and own the end-to-end test automation architecture across web, mobile, and API layers.
  • Lead the design and implementation of mobile test automation, including device coverage and scalability.
  • Establish framework standards, reusable libraries, and design patterns for broader QE adoption.
  • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to provide early and reliable quality feedback.
  • Evaluate, select, and recommend tools for web, API, and mobile testing.
  • Partner with distributed development teams to embed quality practices into delivery workflows.
  • Mentor QE engineers and leads through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
  • Apply AI and GenAI to improve the testing lifecycle, including test generation, automation scripts, and self-healing frameworks.
  • Validate AI/LLM-powered application features for accuracy, intent alignment, and risk mitigation.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering.
  • Proven experience designing and scaling test automation frameworks across multiple layers.
  • Hands-on expertise in mobile test automation with Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or similar tools.
  • Strong API testing experience, including functional, contract, and integration testing.
  • Experience working across web, mobile, and API testing ecosystems.
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with device cloud and grid platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or Test Grid.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration across global, distributed teams.
  • Experience applying AI and GenAI tools in testing workflows, including test generation and validation of AI-based systems.
  • Domain experience in freight, transportation, or logistics systems such as shipping, tracking, dispatch, or supply chain.
  • Preferred: Experience with performance and load testing.
  • Preferred: Background in organizations evolving or maturing mobile testing capabilities.
  • Preferred: Strong decision-making skills in selecting tools and defining scalable architectures.
  • Experience with Selenium WebDriver and Playwright for web automation.
  • Experience with REST Assured, Postman/Newman, or Karate for API testing.
  • Proficiency in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
  • Knowledge of AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Postman AI, DeepEval, Promptfoo, LangSmith, ChatGPT, or Claude.
