Description

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems, APIs, and relational database structures using Java and MySQL.
  • Optimize backend performance and queries for high traffic, large datasets, and real-time inventory synchronization.
  • Lead integrations with payment gateways, shipping providers, messaging platforms, and third-party APIs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and the CTO to align technical solutions with business strategy.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to maintain system stability.
  • Mentor team members through code reviews and promote code quality, security, and clean architecture.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in backend software development with strong Java and object-oriented programming expertise.
  • Experience with Spring Framework, ORM tools such as Hibernate, MySQL, Git, and API integrations including REST, SOAP, and GraphQL.
  • Comfortable communicating and troubleshooting directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong collaboration skills, adaptability in fast-paced environments, and an ownership mindset with business acumen.
  • Advanced English proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
  • Experience or exposure to SAP Commerce / Hybris architecture and customizations (nice to have).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms and microservices deployment (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with high-volume data pipelines, event-driven sagas, or AI-first development workflows (nice to have).
  • Exposure to frontend basics including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery (nice to have).
