Description

  • Build Clover’s dental network strategy from the ground up and transition from a vendor-supported model to an in-house capability across markets.
  • Design and execute a cost-effective network strategy that supports adequacy, geographic access, and long-term market differentiation.
  • Lead provider recruitment and contracting, including market targeting, economic modeling, negotiations, and deal execution.
  • Develop and operationalize dental fee schedules aligned with financial targets, provider market dynamics, and performance-based models.
  • Use market data, competitive intelligence, and provider economics to guide network expansion, optimization, and margin strategy.
  • Establish provider performance frameworks, including scorecards and KPIs for quality, access, member experience, and financial outcomes.
  • Partner with Finance, Actuarial, Clinical, and Operations teams to resolve escalations and align on network strategy.
  • Build, scale, and lead a dental network team spanning contracting, analytics, and provider relationship management.
  • Stand up a structured provider account management model and improve provider experience.
  • Develop provider outreach materials, recruitment roadmaps, KPIs, and dashboards to track progress against network goals.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in dental network development, provider contracting, or payer network management.
  • Deep expertise in fee schedule design and reimbursement strategy.
  • Experience building provider network strategy from the ground up.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare Advantage regulations and network adequacy standards.
  • Proven track record negotiating complex provider contracts and building cost-effective networks.
  • Experience leading contracting or network teams with clear strategy, processes, and performance metrics.
  • Strong financial and analytical acumen with the ability to partner closely with Finance and Actuarial.
  • Ability to work in fast-moving environments, bring structure to ambiguity, and influence executive stakeholders.
  • Experience with provider performance management, account management, or network operations is preferred.
  • Experience supporting growth strategy or scaling networks across multiple markets is preferred.
