Description

  • Identify and monitor healthcare facilities that consistently generate high-quality clinical documents to locate and quantify data gaps.
  • Map and correlate facility-specific data across claims, CCDA, and ADT sources to uncover patterns of missingness, latency, and record incongruence.
  • Maintain transparent reporting on ADT coverage across geographic, organizational, and EMR dimensions.
  • Recommend and guide technical configurations for existing data vendors based on data flow and quality analysis.
  • Evaluate and run proof-of-concepts for new data integration technologies to assess viability, quality improvements, and strategic fit.
  • Determine the existence and completeness of documentation tied to specific patient visits or encounters.
  • Develop a framework for prioritizing facility targets for direct data acquisition based on impact, cost-effectiveness, and technical feasibility.
  • Inform vendor strategy around TEFCA and QHIN adoption to support compliant, high-quality data exchange.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and Clinical teams to define requirements, implement pipelines, and validate data quality.
  • Act as a liaison to remove operational and technical bottlenecks and improve predictable, scalable clinical data flow.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on data analytics experience with direct exposure to healthcare data interoperability.
  • Strong experience with healthcare data standards including HL7, CCDA, and ADT messages.
  • Proficiency in SQL and comfort working with large, complex datasets such as claims, clinical logs, and interoperability data.
  • Experience analyzing interoperability networks such as Carequality, CommonWell, and eHealthExchange, or working with HIE integrations.
  • Ability to present complex findings through data visualization to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong investigative mindset with an interest in understanding the causes of missing data and diverging metrics.
  • Self-directed and able to manage multiple analytical projects without constant supervision.
  • Experience with TEFCA/QHIN frameworks and evolving national interoperability standards, preferred.
  • Familiarity with vendor-specific data exchange platforms such as Bamboo Health, HSX, Particle Health, or Kno2, preferred.
  • Background in value-based care, population health, or clinical data operations, preferred.
  • Experience with claims-clinical data reconciliation, such as matching EOBs to clinical encounter records, preferred.
  • Comfort working with Python or similar tools for data manipulation and automation, preferred.
