Description

  • Lead analytics initiatives from problem definition through delivery, including analysis design, value measurement, and recommendations.
  • Partner with finance and revenue cycle management teams to build self-service reporting tools and capabilities.
  • Develop and present organizational KPIs that measure business performance and operational health.
  • Build analytics products using Databricks, dbt, SQL, scripting, and BI tools.
  • Create scalable Databricks workflows for data wrangling, feature engineering, modeling, and recurring analysis automation.
  • Partner with Data Engineering on scalable data solutions and reliable upstream data foundations.
  • Ensure analysis quality through validation, experiment design, sensitivity checks, reproducibility, versioning, and documentation.
  • Define and monitor KPIs aligned with business objectives.
  • Champion BI development standards, including documentation, quality checks, naming conventions, and release practices.
  • Stay current with analytics methodologies, technologies, and capabilities.

Requirements

  • 4–8 years of experience in analytics, including 2+ years leading cross-functional projects.
  • 2+ years writing data directly to a data warehouse.
  • 2+ years partnering with finance, strategy and operations, FP&A, or revenue cycle management leaders.
  • Experience delivering measurable business outcomes in complex, ambiguous, or messy-data environments.
  • Expert production-level SQL skills, including query optimization over large partitioned tables.
  • Proficiency in R for reproducible workflows, statistical testing, and basic modeling.
  • Experience with Git-based workflows, documentation, peer review, and reproducibility practices.
  • Experience with at least one BI platform, such as Power BI, Hex, or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of statistical and financial analytics, business case development, and executive storytelling.
  • Experience with Databricks, dbt, AI-assisted analytics tools, or Microsoft Fabric; relevant certifications, Azure experience, data governance knowledge, and product management experience are preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely with required company-paid travel to Ankeny, Iowa, for initial orientation and onboarding.
  • Must not require current or future U.S. immigration sponsorship.

  • Salary of $101,700–$113,000 plus a 10% bonus.
