Description

  • Shape priorities, operating rhythms, and decision-making across Finance and the broader company.
  • Translate high-level goals into execution plans with clear owners, timelines, and decision points.
  • Act as a trusted thought partner by structuring problems, clarifying tradeoffs, and surfacing data-driven recommendations.
  • Independently lead the CFO’s highest-priority initiatives across finance, actuarial, operations, and product.
  • Drive complex, ambiguous projects from definition through execution and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with Finance, Actuarial, and Data teams to strengthen the finance operating model and improve metrics usage.
  • Prepare board, Audit Committee, investor, and executive leadership materials with clear, analytically rigorous narratives.
  • Build relationships across functions to improve alignment, resolve issues early, and influence senior stakeholders without formal authority.
  • Apply first-principles and data-driven thinking to improve decision quality and decision-ready frameworks.
  • Identify and deploy AI-powered tools that accelerate execution and improve operational leverage.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in consulting, finance, strategy, business operations, investing, healthcare strategy, or a similarly demanding operating environment.
  • Strong business judgment and the ability to balance strategy and execution.
  • Experience with executive communication, including writing and speaking with precision for senior leaders.
  • Analytical rigor and comfort working with data, financials, and business metrics.
  • Ability to influence without authority and operate effectively across functions.
  • High EQ and low-ego leadership style.
  • AI fluency with experience deploying AI to accelerate execution or create leverage.
  • Healthcare experience is strongly preferred, especially in Medicare Advantage, value-based care, insurance, or related sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
