Description

  • Own CloudLinux and Imunify360’s presence in the WordPress ecosystem through relationships with media, community figures, and partners.
  • Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for the WordPress audience, including segment prioritization, channel mix, roadmap, and measurement.
  • Shape positioning and commercial narratives for WordPress-facing products and create sales and partner enablement materials.
  • Lead product launches into the WordPress market as the WordPress product roadmap matures.
  • Develop and manage the agency program and dedicated partner website, including strategy, content architecture, and channel evolution.
  • Create and direct sponsorship and editorial placement strategies with key WordPress media channels.
  • Own the content strategy for the WordPress audience, including flagship assets and the annual WordPress/hosting industry report.
  • Brief and direct writers, conduct interviews, and produce customer success stories and agency interviews.
  • Represent the company at WordCamps, CloudFest, webinars, and other relevant industry events.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, sales, design, web development, contractors, and external partners.

Requirements

  • Real experience in the WordPress ecosystem, including familiarity with the media landscape, agency business model, and community dynamics.
  • 5+ years of B2B software marketing experience in product marketing, ecosystem marketing, developer marketing, or a closely related role.
  • Experience owning a market or segment, not just contributing to one.
  • Proven ownership of content strategy with published output such as thought leadership, product narratives, and event briefs.
  • Ability to produce content tailored to different formats and audiences.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and building a program from the ground up.
  • A bias toward action and the ability to define what is needed and move quickly without a complete brief.
  • Interest in hosting and WordPress security/performance challenges.
  • Cross-functional credibility and the ability to align product, sales, and external partners.
  • Background in security, performance, or infrastructure software marketing is preferred.
  • Direct experience with hosting industry events such as CloudFest, HostingCon, or WordCamps is preferred.
