Description

  • Manage user onboarding, offboarding, and access control.
  • Provision new hosts and maintain production servers across bare metal, public cloud, and private cloud environments.
  • Manage DNS records, domain registrations, renewals, transfers, and decommissioning.
  • Perform security tasks such as firewall configuration and operating system updates.
  • Monitor infrastructure, respond to alerts and incidents, and minimize service disruption.
  • Handle requests in Jira within agreed response times.
  • Create new services and integrate them into the existing infrastructure from development team specifications.
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines to automate routine administration tasks.
  • Write and maintain clear documentation for services, tasks, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Good working knowledge of RHEL-based operating systems, including CentOS and AlmaLinux.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with bare metal servers, virtual machines, and containers.
  • Basic understanding of infrastructure and service monitoring.
  • Familiarity with Ansible or other configuration management tools.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and the ability to produce clear, concise documentation.
  • Ability and eagerness to learn quickly, investigate problems independently, and find effective solutions.
  • Experience with at least one commercial cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with a scripting language such as Bash or Python (nice to have).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI or Jenkins (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with Git version control (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with FreeIPA, LDAP, or Google Workspace administration (nice to have).
