Description

  • Drive mindshare across the Akamai partner ecosystem to establish go-to-market activities in North America.
  • Promote Cloudinary and Akamai partnership advantages using shared customer wins to strengthen partner sales and technical relationships.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and other executive engagements with Akamai partners, tracking performance against growth targets.
  • Collaborate with Cloudinary Product Marketing to create collateral that supports Akamai partnership go-to-market initiatives.
  • Work with Cloudinary Channels & Alliances to build preference for Cloudinary offerings within Akamai partner ecosystems.
  • Recruit executive sponsors and key supporters within Akamai and Cloudinary to create strong alignment.
  • Maintain collaborative technical relationships that support Cloudinary roadmap optimization and partner enablement.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement enablement programs and joint marketing campaigns that generate sales opportunities.
  • Define strategic accounts and joint account-planning targets with Akamai partners and Cloudinary teams to support proactive business development.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics and pipeline activity for internal stakeholders and executive leadership.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic alliances, and/or partner management for a cloud-based service provider.
  • 4+ years leading partnership activities for a SaaS provider, ideally with or for Akamai.
  • Experience selling cloud infrastructure services such as storage, Akamai, or compute services.
  • Demonstrated track record of quota attainment in a sales and alliances role, including sell-through, sell-to, and sell-with measurements.
  • Advanced understanding of Akamai services, including products, pricing, packaging, positioning, and go-to-market tactics.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with partners and attend industry events.
