Description

  • Partner with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide technical sales support.
  • Identify and map customer initiatives and business problems to appropriate Cloudflare solutions.
  • Build relationships and technical champions within customer accounts to drive adoption.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demos for stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Lead demo and proof-of-concept (POC) activities for prospects and existing customers.
  • Develop professional content (white papers, blog posts, knowledge sharing) to demonstrate Cloudflare expertise.
  • Represent and evangelize Cloudflare externally at developer, community, technology, cybersecurity, and industry events.
  • Apply vertical or domain expertise to advise customers on best practices and solution design.
  • Manage multiple projects and activities concurrently, including customer engagements and internal collaboration.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Solutions Engineer or other customer-facing technical role with CDN, Security, Networking, or SaaS.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Solid written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage several projects and activities concurrently and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% for customer meetings, conferences, and team collaboration.
  • Fundamental understanding of customer network and/or application architectures.
  • Experience or knowledge of hybrid architectures and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Understanding or experience with application and/or network security, VPN/remote access, SIEM/log analytics, and client OS fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with routing/subnetting, split tunnels, SD-WAN, local internet breakout, and end-user/application security risks (DDoS, malware, phishing).
  • Experience interacting with senior-level executives and knowledge of the competitive market around CDN and internet security technologies.
  • Candidates must be authorized to receive software or technology controlled under U.S. export laws without sponsorship for an export license (any offer may be conditioned on this authorization).
