Description

  • Architect and improve Cloudbeds’ AWS infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain the Kubernetes platform, preferably using EKS.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration through IaC and configuration management.
  • Design, support, and improve CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
  • Drive product and engineering projects through successful production deployment.
  • Improve system security, reliability, scalability, performance, and quality.
  • Advise development teams on DevOps practices and infrastructure-based application configuration.
  • Participate in the production-environment on-call rotation and respond to outages.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of DevOps engineering experience with AWS, including EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, SQS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • 2+ years of Kubernetes experience, preferably with EKS, plus Helm and Docker.
  • Experience with application containerization and delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and methodologies, such as Terraform.
  • Experience designing, building, and supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD/GitOps.
  • Experience with NGINX, Ingress controllers, traffic load balancing, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Aurora, Redis or Memcached, and SQS.
  • Ability to write Bash or Python scripts and strong networking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication, teamwork, remote-work discipline, and time-management skills.
  • Preferred: Linux administration, PCI-compliant environments, automated service onboarding, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry.

  • Annual compensation of $90,000–$120,000 USD, with flexibility for packages above this range.
