Description

  • Support and guide users, customers, and prospects through cases, chat, Slack, community channels, and meetings.
  • Deliver first-line technical support and professional responses within required SLAs across ticketing systems, email, Slack, chat, and phone.
  • Triage support tickets and handle a wide variety of customer-facing support tasks.
  • Assist with pre-sales and post-sales customer activities and deeply technical proof-of-concept work with the Go To Market team.
  • Develop reusable solutions for ClickHouse Cloud and open-source users through documentation, knowledge base articles, blogs, meetups, webinars, and training.
  • Work closely with Support Services, Engineering, Go To Market, and Product Management to define needed functionality.
  • Mentor, train, and share knowledge with colleagues, users, and customers.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners.
  • Suggest improvements to support processes and how the team operates at ClickHouse.

Requirements

  • Technical breadth and depth in ClickHouse open-source or Cloud, or in related domains such as SQL databases, OLAP, cloud-native SaaS, distributed systems, Kubernetes, or Docker.
  • Previous technical experience in roles such as Support Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Database Administrator, Site Reliability Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Software Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
  • Availability to work the schedule required to deliver high-quality 24x7 support in a global, distributed environment.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work fully remote with reliable connectivity.
  • Team-oriented mindset with global engagement, empathy, and comfort solving challenging problems.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues, customers, and partners.
  • Self-driven, curious, and eager to continuously learn and grow.
  • Experience with ClickHouse is a plus.
  • Experience with open-source technologies as a user, community member, or contributor is preferred.
  • Experience with Azure, GCP, or AWS is a plus.
  • Experience with data pipelines such as Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, or RabbitMQ is a plus.
