Description

  • Lead, mentor, and scale the EMEA Solutions Architecture team, establishing technical standards and best practices.
  • Build a strong customer-first culture within the Solutions Architecture organization.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering leadership to drive outcomes for enterprise and commercial customers.
  • Advise customers at senior levels, including C-suite stakeholders, architects, data engineers, and developers.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into cloud-native solution designs covering architecture, migrations, workflows, and data visualisation.
  • Guide high-impact proofs of concept and reference architectures that support adoption and expansion.
  • Evangelise ClickHouse’s vision, architecture, and value proposition across the EMEA market.
  • Participate in executive briefings, events, and community initiatives to support regional growth.
  • Drive regional initiatives that help customers turn raw data into actionable insights and business outcomes.
  • Provide field feedback to inform product strategy, roadmap priorities, and go-to-market execution.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical leadership role.
  • Prior people management experience.
  • Strong background with open-source software business models and cloud-first technologies.
  • Hands-on experience designing and supporting scalable, highly available distributed systems.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical engagement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to bridge business goals and technical solutions.
  • Experience in fast-growing, high-change environments.
  • Experience building teams from early stages.
  • Experience deploying applications or selling into environments with major cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (preferred).
  • Familiarity with database technologies, data modelling, and analytical workloads (preferred).
  • Prior experience supporting multiple countries or regions within EMEA (preferred).
