Description

  • Conduct interviews, requirements workshops, and cross-discipline meetings to understand business needs and documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to shape solutions that meet business objectives and product vision.
  • Develop clear documentation for solutions, including process flows, technical requirements, UI, modules, data layouts, and data mappings.
  • Write testable requirements and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Work collaboratively within an Agile Scrum team supporting software and QA engineers.
  • Interface with stakeholders and cross-functional team members on end-user documentation and training materials.
  • Own, maintain, and refine the team backlog based on team norms.
  • Own, maintain, and refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Mentor associate and mid-level analysts on team process and standards.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in business analysis.
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or Mathematics, or 3+ years of professional experience in an enterprise-class setting.
  • Experience writing requirements for enterprise-class software solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions clearly.
  • Strong experience authoring user stories and testable acceptance criteria.
  • Experience querying data from SQL and/or No-SQL databases.
  • Strong experience analyzing data from sources such as flat files, web sources, and development data mappings, and defining data mappings.
  • Must have experience in Scrum, SAFe, or a similar Agile framework.
  • Strong experience defining requirements for software initiatives covering UI, API, and database considerations.
  • A positive, self-motivated, driven, and teachable attitude.
  • High standard of personal integrity and accountability.
  • Passion and aptitude for solving complex problems.
  • Fun attitude and great sense of humor.
  • Healthcare system experience, especially with claims, member/eligibility, and provider data, is preferred.
  • Experience and proficiency with all parts of defining, designing, and implementing scalable, enterprise-class software solutions is preferred.
  • Agile or technical certifications are a plus.
  • Experience supporting users and/or conducting end-user training is preferred.
  • Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence is preferred.
  • Experience coaching and training colleagues in business and/or data analysis is preferred.
  • Experience coaching and training colleagues in documenting requirements, writing user stories, and building diagrams is preferred.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
