Description

  • Define product vision, roadmaps, and KPIs for AWS-based data pipelines, data lakes, analytics dashboards, and AI/ML data features.
  • Partner with business leaders, domain experts, and engineering teams to identify high-impact use cases and translate requirements into technical epics.
  • Prioritize product backlogs and manage the data-product lifecycle from discovery through rollout.
  • Align product architecture with AWS data services, including S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Bedrock, and SageMaker.
  • Partner with Security and Data Governance teams to enforce access controls, privacy compliance, data lineage, and data-quality standards.
  • Lead agile delivery cycles by defining acceptance criteria, managing user stories, and ensuring timely delivery of data solutions.
  • Track product usage, adoption, and ROI to improve engagement and business value.

Requirements

  • Experience managing data platforms, ETL pipelines, or analytics products.
  • Solid understanding of AWS data services, including S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Athena, QuickSight, and IAM.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native data architecture patterns, including Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Data Mesh.
  • Experience leading cross-functional squads using Scrum or Kanban and backlog tools such as Jira or Linear.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data-visualization tools to validate product performance and metrics.
  • Track record of translating complex technical requirements into business outcomes and executive-ready communications.
  • Databricks Certified Consultant certification and DBR-to-EMR migration experience on AWS (preferred).
  • AWS Certified Data Engineer – Associate or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification (preferred).
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Pragmatic Institute certification (preferred).
