Description

  • Provide technical leadership to the Data Engineering team and guide technical decisions.
  • Define and evolve the solution’s data architecture.
  • Design data ingestion, integration, and transformation strategies across multiple sources.
  • Lead migration of data from SharePoint to SQL Server.
  • Define and implement Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medallion Architecture layers.
  • Design transactional and analytical layers across Supply Chain domains.
  • Lead development of semantic models and Power BI solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, performance, governance, and scalability.
  • Translate client business needs into technical solutions and connect business, architecture, data, and development teams.
  • Mentor Data Developers and support the team’s technical growth.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in Data Engineering and Data Architecture.
  • Experience providing technical leadership for data teams.
  • Strong experience designing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and multi-source integrations.
  • Knowledge of Medallion Architecture.
  • Strong SQL and SQL Server knowledge.
  • Hands-on Python experience for data engineering and processing.
  • Practical experience with Databricks and Azure.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and semantic models.
  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, autonomy, and systems-thinking skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Apps and Power Automate (preferred).
  • Knowledge of SAP and SAP data integration (preferred).
  • Supply Chain process experience or knowledge (preferred).
  • Spanish proficiency (preferred).
