Description

  • Plan and execute the migration of systems and data volumes to new cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop, optimize, and orchestrate ETL/ELT processes while ensuring data integrity, performance, and quality.
  • Design, optimize, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines on AWS.
  • Work closely with development, product, and operations teams to implement efficient data solutions.
  • Monitor environment health and troubleshoot complex issues in databases and pipelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement across data operations and platform reliability.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for architecture, lineage, and data processes.

Requirements

  • Experience with AWS data services such as AWS Glue, EMR, Amazon Athena, DynamoDB, Lake Formation, Amazon S3, and EventBridge.
  • Solid experience with Apache Spark/PySpark.
  • Experience with data warehouse modeling using Amazon Redshift, Lakehouse architectures, Open Table Formats (Iceberg/Delta), data contracts, and schema evolution.
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow.
  • Strong experience with relational databases (SQL) and non-relational databases (NoSQL).
  • Knowledge of data governance, data lineage (OpenLineage), and observability tools such as CloudWatch or DataDog.
  • DevOps culture, automation mindset, and ability to plan capacity with cost-versus-performance trade-offs.
  • Experience resolving incidents and working with continuous improvement practices.
  • Nice to have: experience with Amazon Bedrock, MCP Server, AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, RAG, Embeddings, Guardrails, Eval, and Spec Driven Development.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of SAS and experience in large-scale migration projects.
  • Nice to have: active AWS or related data-platform certifications.
  • Must be willing to work onsite in CI&T offices in Campinas metropolitan region if residing there.
