Description

  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines in Azure using Databricks.
  • Implement CI/CD practices to automate deployments and code versioning in GitHub.
  • Design and optimize data models to ensure scalability, performance, and governance.
  • Support cloud migration projects while maintaining data security, quality, and integrity.
  • Collaborate with business and data science teams to deploy AI models in the cloud.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency through profiling, monitoring, and controls.
  • Document data engineering processes, architectures, and best practices.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to evolve data architecture and handle high-volume customer data.
  • Automate data processes, queries, ingestion, transformation, and data availability.
  • Analyze data issues and propose solutions to improve delivery outcomes.

Requirements

  • Solid experience with Azure Data Services, Databricks, and PySpark.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and transformation.
  • Experience with CI/CD and GitHub-based versioning.
  • Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes.
  • Experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services such as ADF, Synapse, Data Lake Storage, and Spark.
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub and Azure DevOps for deployment automation.
  • Experience with cloud migration projects and integration of large data volumes.
  • Preferred experience with AI model deployment and tools such as Azure ML.
  • Preferred experience with data-oriented architectures, governance best practices, MDM, Databricks MLflow, Data Lake, and Data Warehouse environments.
  • Must be available for mandatory on-site attendance in Campinas metropolitan region offices if residing in that area.
