Description

  • Partner with a business analyst and technical subject matter expert to understand escrow management workflows and translate them into AI workflows.
  • Create process maps, decision trees, and regulatory checkpoints to document domain logic for agent development.
  • Design multi-step agentic workflows for escrow analysis, disbursement sequencing, and exception resolution.
  • Prototype and build agents using Claude and Claude Code to handle edge cases, regulatory constraints, and process variations.
  • Implement supporting infrastructure and test harnesses to validate agent behavior against domain rules and compliance requirements.
  • Work with compliance and operations teams to field-test solutions on real scenarios.
  • Package domain insights, decision logic, and prompts into reusable assets for future projects.
  • Create runbooks for domain-specific agent tuning and error diagnosis.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software development experience, preferably in Python, TypeScript, or Go.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM-based applications, including prompt engineering, tool integration, multi-turn workflows, and error handling.
  • Demonstrated experience building or deploying agentic systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or custom orchestration.
  • Ability to design control flows for multi-step reasoning, handle uncertainty, and apply appropriate guardrails.
  • Strong understanding of prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and LLM limitations.
  • Ability to extract domain logic from subject matter experts without formal specifications.
  • Experience translating business rules into testable, executable requirements.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as mortgage, fintech, or healthcare, or strong understanding of compliance, SLAs, and audit trails.
  • Ability to recognize when an AI approach is unsuitable and recommend rule-based logic when needed.
  • Mortgage servicing or loan origination experience, including LOS systems, servicing platforms, or escrow operations, is preferred.
  • Hands-on use of Anthropic's Claude API and Claude Code for rapid prototyping is preferred.
  • Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or other tool integration frameworks is preferred.
  • Background in business process management, data modeling, or BPMN diagramming is preferred.
  • Track record of cross-functional collaboration with non-technical stakeholders is preferred.
