Description

  • Define and evolve data governance practices by structuring governance frameworks and operating models.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of corporate data by implementing controls and standards.
  • Lead the implementation of data catalog and lineage initiatives.
  • Define data policies and standards and ensure they are applied.
  • Serve as an internal data advisor to business areas and stakeholders.
  • Monitor governance maturity by defining KPIs and governance metrics.
  • Investigate and resolve complex data issues and critical inconsistencies.
  • Promote a data-driven culture through training and cultural initiatives.

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of data governance and frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK.
  • Solid experience with data catalog, lineage, and glossary tools.
  • Knowledge of data quality and implementation of controls.
  • Experience defining data policies and standards.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and the impact of data.
  • Experience managing stakeholders and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong influence and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking, autonomy, ownership mindset, and ability to handle complexity.
  • Technical leadership and ability to guide teams.
  • Preferred: postgraduate degree or certifications in Data Science, AI, or related areas.
  • Preferred: familiarity with market platforms such as Collibra and Ataccama.
  • Preferred: knowledge of modern cloud data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
  • Preferred: familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI to support analytics and self-service culture.
  • Preferred: experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and a product-oriented data mindset.
