Description

  • Support a benefits-industry client alongside the CI&T team.
  • Help ramp up a new team from scratch.
  • Deliver regulatory and mandatory changes that affect the client’s systems.
  • Split and manage backlog work with an existing team of senior developers.
  • Contribute to modernization of legacy systems.
  • Build Java applications using Spring Boot.
  • Write unit tests and participate in code reviews.
  • Develop clean, maintainable code.
  • Work with agile ceremonies and practices such as dailies, sprints, reviews, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Collaborate on microservices and cloud-based implementation work.

Requirements

  • Experience with legacy modernization.
  • Experience with regulatory or mandatory demands.
  • Hands-on development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience writing unit tests and working with code reviews.
  • Strong focus on clean, simple, maintainable code (Clean Code).
  • Experience with Oracle and Mongo databases.
  • Familiarity with agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience with OCP, VSTS, AWS, pipelines, lambdas, Sonar, microservices architecture, and Azure.
  • Familiarity with legacy Java technologies such as Servlets, JSP, JAX-WS, and JAX-RS.
  • Experience with Docker.
