Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for multi-source ingestion, large-scale processing, and data transformation.
  • Integrate corporate systems with analytics platforms and make data available for business and technology consumers.
  • Develop solutions in Databricks, Python, PySpark, and SQL.
  • Ensure performance, quality, and scalability of data processing workflows.
  • Work with relational and non-relational data stores, including SQL and MongoDB.
  • Participate in data modeling, data cleansing, and information delivery for different data consumers.
  • Monitor pipelines and data processes, identify operational failures, and resolve issues.
  • Implement performance improvements and support the evolution of data engineering architecture and processes.

Requirements

  • Solid experience as a Data Engineer, Senior Data Engineer, or equivalent role.
  • Strong Python knowledge for data engineering, automation, data analysis, and AI solution support.
  • Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with structured data.
  • Strong MongoDB knowledge.
  • Experience with Databricks, PySpark, and Spark.
  • Experience building, optimizing, and supporting scalable data pipelines.
  • Experience in cloud environments, preferably Azure Databricks.
  • Experience with near-real-time data processing, preferably using Kafka.
  • Experience with ML model production in Databricks and MLOps practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub and GitHub Actions.
  • Knowledge of data engineering best practices, versioning, testing, code review, and data quality.
  • Preferred: experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, data lake concepts, distributed processing, regulated environments, and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and automated code review.
