Description

  • Design and code complex systems and components using advanced software engineering practices.
  • Act as the squad’s AI Engineer by configuring, operating, and evolving AI agents across the development lifecycle.
  • Write and refine technical prompts to guide agents in code generation, automated testing, and documentation.
  • Review and validate agent-generated code to ensure quality, security, and architectural alignment before repository integration.
  • Define agentic development best practices and establish safe, efficient human-agent collaboration standards for the squad.
  • Serve as a technical reference for the squad through code reviews, pair programming, and ongoing mentoring.
  • Work closely with the Principal Architect to ensure solutions follow the operation’s architectural standards.
  • Identify development process improvements and propose technical approaches that reduce delivery time and improve operational efficiency.
  • Organize and lead solution reviews to keep the team aligned on implementation decisions and technical direction.

Requirements

  • Strong backend software development experience with deep Java and microservices expertise.
  • Deep knowledge of distributed architecture patterns, including REST APIs, BFF, and API Gateway.
  • Experience with AWS cloud, including deployment, scalability, and infrastructure best practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices applied to software delivery.
  • Ability to technically lead a squad and act as a reference for code quality, solution design, and complex problem solving.
  • Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and performance tests.
  • Advanced English for reading technical documentation and writing prompts and instructions for AI agents.
  • Experience with agentic development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
  • Experience with prompt engineering for coding tasks, test generation, code review, and automated documentation.
  • Familiarity with CI&T Flow or other GenAI platforms for software engineering workflows.
  • Knowledge of application security, including DevSecOps, SAST, DAST, and secure development practices.
  • Experience integrating third-party transactional platforms and building proxy APIs in multi-platform environments.
  • Preferred: practical experience as an AI Engineer configuring and evolving AI agents in real software development workflows.
  • Preferred: background in financial services, especially transactional systems, payment methods, or acquiring platforms.
  • Preferred: experience modernizing legacy systems and migrating to cloud without operational interruption.
