Description

  • Act as a technical reference for the team and support architecture decisions.
  • Develop backend solutions in Kotlin/Java.
  • Collaborate occasionally on the frontend, preferably with ReactJS or another modern technology.
  • Participate in technical discussions and propose simple, scalable solutions focused on user experience.
  • Promote engineering best practices such as code review, pair programming, automated testing, and continuous monitoring.
  • Support incident analysis and issue resolution using data and metrics.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, documentation maintenance, and dissemination of best practices across the team.
  • Participate in agile squad rituals and work closely with leadership to align technical challenges and growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Solid experience with Kotlin and Spring Framework.
  • Occasional frontend experience, preferably with ReactJS, or other modern frontend technologies.
  • Experience with Clean Architecture and scalable application development.
  • Experience with automated testing and strong knowledge of the Testing Pyramid.
  • Knowledge of programming and DevOps best practices, including SOLID, DRY, DDD, and Clean Code.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Knowledge of containerization with Docker.
  • Familiarity with Vue.js, Angular, or similar frameworks is welcome.
  • Experience using AI tools for code generation, quality assurance, and process improvement.
  • Preferred experience with event-driven architecture, such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS.
  • Preferred knowledge of WebFlux and reactive development.
  • Preferred experience with functional programming.
  • Preferred experience with microservices and design systems.
  • Preferred experience with refactoring and technical debt management.
  • Preferred knowledge of Kubernetes and 12-Factor Apps (Cloud Native).
  • Must be located in Brazil.
  • If residing in the Campinas metropolitan area, in-office presence in Campinas is mandatory under the current attendance policy.
