Description

  • Operate and evolve the data platform, including Databricks, Unity Catalog, and the data lake, ensuring availability, performance, and cost control.
  • Own the full data lifecycle from ideation through operation and continuous optimization.
  • Support and maintain data pipelines for billing and adoption with reliability and data integrity.
  • Establish and enforce data best practices across governance, modeling, quality, security, privacy, lineage, and accessibility.
  • Define the team roadmap and prioritize competing demands from technical and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to document clear data requirements and validate products with users.
  • Monitor metrics and KPIs to guide decisions and drive continuous improvement in data products.
  • Support the adoption of AI within the team’s workflow to improve performance.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a cross-functional team of engineers, scientists, and analytics specialists.
  • Identify opportunities to expand and optimize data operations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Data/Analytics Manager, Data Engineering Lead, or Tech Lead with people management responsibility.
  • Expertise in at least two of the following areas: Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, or AI.
  • Strong experience with modern data architecture, including lakehouse and dimensional/medallion modeling, and the full data lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, Spark/PySpark, SQL, and workflow orchestration.
  • Knowledge of event streaming technologies such as Kafka or similar platforms.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and business audiences, with a product mindset and focus on measurable impact.
  • Direct experience with CI&T Flow or AI agent ecosystems (preferred).
  • Experience with multi-tenant data platforms and billing/usage-based models (preferred).
  • Knowledge of data security and privacy, including familiarity with LGPD, GDPR, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 (preferred).
  • Experience with MLOps and relevant certifications in Databricks, cloud, or product disciplines (preferred).
