Description

  • Lead and support multiple Data Engineering teams to create a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance to help develop team capabilities.
  • Promote engineering best practices, code quality, and continuous improvement across teams.
  • Design, review, and oversee scalable data solutions using Databricks and modern cloud technologies.
  • Define and enforce coding standards, architecture principles, and documentation guidelines.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide technical feedback to improve maintainability, performance, and reliability.
  • Drive process optimization, automation, and engineering excellence initiatives.
  • Review and validate technical deliverables against engineering standards and client expectations.
  • Establish and improve quality assurance practices for data integrity, reliability, and governance.
  • Partner with clients and stakeholders to define technical strategies and align solutions with business goals.

Requirements

  • Advanced English communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in Data Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Databricks.
  • Solid experience with Apache Spark and cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java.
  • Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Proven experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, and driving technical decisions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
  • Experience working in consulting environments and with international clients, preferred.
  • Experience defining data governance and quality frameworks, preferred.
  • Knowledge of modern data architecture patterns, including Lakehouse architectures, preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code practices, preferred.
  • Certifications related to Databricks, cloud platforms, or Data Engineering, preferred.
