Description

  • Define and evolve the technical direction, architecture, and design patterns for back-end services using C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.
  • Oversee the implementation, evolution, and standardization of SOAP and REST APIs, including versioning, security, and best practices.
  • Establish standards for testing, monitoring, and root-cause analysis to improve system reliability and scalability.
  • Lead code reviews and mentor senior and junior engineers to promote engineering excellence and continuous learning.
  • Oversee integration of legacy and modern systems to ensure high performance and appropriate decoupling.
  • Drive optimization of CI/CD workflows and automated pipelines to improve development velocity and deployment safety.
  • Partner with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-border teams to translate business needs into technical roadmaps.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance while balancing strategic leadership and delivery ownership.

Requirements

  • Advanced or fluent English proficiency.
  • Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Team Lead, or Principal Engineer in a production environment.
  • Deep hands-on experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core.
  • Strong knowledge of ADO.NET and SQL Server, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning at scale.
  • Experience designing and maintaining SOAP and RESTful web services.
  • Proficiency with XML serialization and deserialization.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, clean architecture, and modern distributed system design.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Resilience and ability to work in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
  • Cloud platform experience, preferably Azure (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with specification-driven development and agentic approaches to software development (nice to have).
  • Experience leading teams in Agile/Scrum development methodologies (nice to have).
